So, if just another 2 of Silva & Tevez are accidentally out injured too, ....then?

The people on here saying good riddance are clueless. If Adebayor had become disruptive in the last few months well you can't blame him really. Not had a look in since Mancini sent him on for about two seconds of the derby. If we lose Tevez we are wrecked. Dzeko is the type of player who needs a strike partner. Our system isn't made for that as it is and he looks miles off the pace. Jo I've tried to defend but it's not happening for him. We are going to be immobile if we lose Carlos. There's no pace in the side as it is and with SWP next on the axe list we have gone from having huge depth to thread bare and that's without an inevitable injury.

Losing AJ is a huge blow. Another player who has come under scrutiny from the angelic footballer brigade or because Bobby says so crew.

4 attacking options left that are up to it one of which is as mad as a box of monkeys and the other who isn't up to speed. This could ruin our season and it's self inflicted.

These are Mancini's decisions and he'll live or die by them. Unless something was going on with Ade that we don't know about that justifies Mancini freezing him out, then it's hard to understand why we're so keen to see a player of Ade's quality loaned out to one of the best teams in the world. I worry that he's showing a little bit too much faith in Balotelli at this point in time. In the long run it might come up trumps, but we don't want it to affect us too badly in the short term and there's always the chance that in the long run he might skip off back to Italy

As for the injury, AJ's a very good impact player at the moment (generally poor playing full games) but I'm relieved to see it's him and not Vince, Nige, Silva or Carlos after DH said it was a key player injured.

Interesting to see Capello's comment on AJ's private life after many short sighted posters on here were claiming Mancini was wrong to try and bring him down a peg not so long back...

Unfortunatly injuries are part and parcel of the game as we all know. You are very lucky as a team to come away thoughout a season with a few key injuries. Luckily we have a squad more than most to cope with this. We still have at the moment SWP who could make a big impression in place of AJ and how many teams in the prem would like SWP in there team. I know it may look a bit threadbare for attacking Midfielders/Wingers but if we make Champions League next year im sure we will have suitable cover next year. We are still a team in progress and we only need a couple of finishing touches to have the squad which we have all been waiting for. Next year im sure we will be the real deal if only we make the Champions League. Every team has had to cope with injuries to key players.

As much as I hate to say it. Scum have proved me wrong, I thought they had an average squad but they have coped with the loss of Valencia and Rooney

Arsenal have had Van Persie out, Fabregas out

Chelsea have had a string of injuries. Lampard, Drogba, Terry to name a few

Spurs have had Defoe, VDV, Dawson and now Bale out

We can cope with missing AJ, fingers crossed its not long term but I have a bad feeling it could me more than a month at least if its an ankle injury. Lets be positive and still look what we have at our disposal, hopefully Mario will be back in a couple of week. Just hope we dont get any more injuries at this crucial stage especially to the likes of Silva.
