Mancini effectively said it's up to Shuan, meaning the contract situation and his age. What he's doing is challenging SWP to step his game up in the season, as he has thus far in pre and MAKE himself a part of the team.
If SWP decides to take what his manager says as a negative, then he'll go downhill fast. I think he knows he's in good form, at the mo, and it's down to him to convince RM.
Why else would he take him to Dublin??

Could have been a shop window for some of those players today (SWP, Johnson, Weiss and Barry).

.When was the last time you saw a player leave City and go on to better things? .
Wanted to post this as a new thread but maybe someone else can do it as I am fairly new and haven't posted enough. Started supporting City back in the beginning of the 90's and thinking when David White left to Leeds, Mike Sheron to Norwich, Flitcroft to Blackburn, Coton to Rags, Kinkladze to Ajax, and recents ones such as Barton to Newcastle, Elano to Galatasaray, Ireland to Villa. Only one player who might have a case is Samaras but he is g*sh (has done a few things at Celtic however). Would like to know if anyone can bring a name forward and some knowledge to back it up. Quinn to Sunderland was a step down from City in my opinion (not acceptable).
