Ajax for Beer Lovers

For those of you who care a bit more about your drink than 'pass the larger, any lager/sheeps piss/achololic water I would recommend In de Wildeman. It has 18 beers on draught and around 250 different types of bottled beer which should keep the beer-loving blue happy for the duration! It's situated a few minutes walk off the Damrak (the main road from central station to Dam Sq) and even has it's own IPhone/andriod app

There must be a Wetherschpooons or Lasht Ordersch somewhere.

£4 for a beer in a major European City doesn't sound too bad - you pay that in shite back street pubs in London.

Around overtoom near leidseplein, near where I used to live has normal pubs at normal prices.
In town the beer is shit as well as expensive

try the t ij brewery under hollands biggest windmill, 20 minute walk from centraal station, great beer, i was on "columbus" 9% though! enjoy
