S*** the bed!

5 Euros a beer. 10 Euros a round. :-?

Anyone know of any Dutch booizers off the beaten track where a scoop is cheaper? :-)

Around overtoom near leidseplein, near where I used to live has normal pubs at normal prices.
In town the beer is shit as well as expensive

Thanks.

Is Overtoom the area/main road near Vondelpark? <a class="postlink" href="http://overtoom.tv/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://overtoom.tv/</a>

Yes mate that's exactly where it is.
Pubs on the streets that come of overtoom, are as close to the centre (2min walk) as you can get without going into fiver a pint of piss territory.

If you want a pint of piss, don't go to In de Wildeman. It's a pub for people who like their beer flavoursome and in most cases very strong. If you want a pint that's as strong and tasteful as cats piss there are lots of cheaper places around

try the t ij brewery under hollands biggest windmill, 20 minute walk from centraal station, great beer, i was on "columbus" 9% though! enjoy

As a blue based here I can confirm this is a great place with a huge terrace and lovely beer. It does close at 8pm though so best for afternoon beers if the weather is good. You can get there walking from central or take the tram 7 or 10 from Weesperplein.. Stay clear of any paddy bars as they are a rip off. Also stay clear of Leidseplein and Rembrantplein as they are very expensive and tourist traps. The Ajax fans will hang round these areas, there will loads in the red light looking for banter with blues.

For any young blues hoping to get lucky without spending 50 euros head to Bitterzoet on the Spui, it is a student club and wall to wall... If anyone likes live bands head to Paradiso or the Melkweg, they are great places although probably not suited to a load of leathered blues who want a sing song. I have seen Ian Brown and The Charlatans here and it is great...

I can't wait to hook up and have a great night...

Forgot to mention the beer in the ground is non-alchoholic...

Nederblue, can you point me in the direction of a late night boozer. Most of them seemed to shut at 11/12pm on my last visit.
I found one off leidersplein full of pretty, arty types but would like to know of a few more.
