Gundo rolling back the years with a Mr Whippy performance but the new kid was MOM with some mercurial wide play and sound defensive display. Ait Nouri for me.

Just edged it to Gundo. Great performance and got two goals. Ait Nouri was a close second. With performances like that it’s hard to see Gundo leaving.

Hard to look past Gundo rolling back the years with a forced 95 minute stint because Gvardiol looked like he was feeling a little right hammy. Reijnders was about to come on for Gundo, but Ruben ended up coming on for Josko.

Thought RA-N literally ran and ran and ran, and will be a revelation once he beds in and players start to understand each other’s runs. Too bad he didn’t get a few assists with his crosses, when players were looking for a pullback.

Not for nothing, Phil had another very nice run out. Looks a different player from last season already.
