Al Fayed puts boot into Hughes

Re: Al Fayed Open Letter About Hughes

Well said Al Fayed, though the Jol bit made me spit my tea on the screen.

Is there a club that would employ him now? The corrosive influence of his agent Kia would make any self respecting club chairman run a mile.

Oh, and wonder what he thought of yesterday's result? That attempt at destabilising us with that bitter, jealous attack on Bobby didn't do the trick, did it Leslie?

Obviously.

Got a link to that? I didn't see his comments.

Cheers, and in response, wasn't Hughes accused of the same thing and of being hands off? Letting Bowen deal with the players on a day to day basis?

Not a good manager at all. Resigned thinking someone better would want him - no chance.

Had his chance with a big club, did nowhere near good enough even with substantial backing, can't see another club that "matches his ambition" coming in for him for a long time.

Poor way to deflect attention away from a dismal start for their club. Questions should be asked of Jol at this point not Hughes.
