Not just because he was impressive for Russia v Czech Republic.

This attacking midfielder is only 21 but been around for a good number of years and is starting to receive the credit his play deserves.

Any ideas on if he would be available and could he be a deep lying playmaker or something like the role Mancini had in mind for Hazard if he had signed.

Russian clubs do have money but not sure if CSKA do as such.

Should we try...

Mentioned him before? Thought not!

Good player, been scouted extensively by our neighbours and Arsenal, and we were linked by name with him last year. Huge potential.

No, but that doesn't mean I can't if I see someone who I think could be worth a look.

Didn't say you couldn't but I remember Liverpool signing Baros, Patrik Berger and Vladimír Šmicer based on decent tournaments.

he tore the rags apart in the champions league and hes been getting better every year hes been well known like ozil in 2010 this could be his break out tournament but maybe ahmed musa was bought to replace him? hes been constantly linked with top clubs hes a very good player.

We were linked with him a couple of seasons back, after he scored against the rags. Think we were supposedly quoted double figures then for him and he was still a teenager. CSKA don't need to sell him, it would take him wanting to test himself abroad or an inflated bid to get him, I feel.

I will be very wary as this was the club who sold us Jo. His first name is the same as one of our recent cult hero though.

I quite liked the lad that scored the goal for Czechs but there you go. We can't buy them all though. Lets see how they do in the next two games.

Contract runs out in December so may not cost too much.

For that reason alone,i reckon the Rags will be all over him......

His agent is going to be a busy boy, thats for sure.

To be fair, I read a thing on the BBC pointing him out as a possibly rising talent before the tournament. I think some people did know about him before he scored them two goals.

I think Abramovich had some connections with CSKA Moscow through the Russian Oil company Sibneft.
