Alan Partridge: Places of My Life

I'm glad it didn't disappoint last night. Considering it was an hour it flew by. Definitely requires re-watching because I missed bits due to laughing. When he shouted "Alright sugar tits" on the market had me in stitches!

MY FACE WAS ACTUALLY HURTING!!!!

it was just pure genius, the nazi dog statue, asking the council to change the hand salute to a thumbs up caught me off guard, wasnt expecting that

just brilliant

when he was on about the wood "know by most peopel for suicide and dogging" i was almost crying

That was my second favourite quote! The one about learning the trade of the market trader in a few minutes and referring to him as a modern day village idiot was also very funny.

Definitely going to re-watch it tonight or tomorrow.

Looking forward to this.

If you liked his mid morning matters you should check out Vic and Bob's Afternoon Delights.

looks like the film is happening too.

The most I've laughed in ages

The whole section in the Town Hall and then onto the Market was just brilliant - missed loads of it through laughing, will def have a re-watch

Recorded it so will probably watch it tonight. Sounds like it was quality which is good to see. The first series of I'm Alan Partridge (second series was good but not quite up there with the first IMO) is one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

Loved the bit where he was interviewing the woman in the swimming pool where it kept cutting to close up shots of them both, when she was on camera you could hear him desperately struggling to stay afloat but then it cut back to him and he was stood up all calm and untroubled.

Brilliant, so much in one hour... the out of hours parking drama, Hitler speech, the test drive diff-lock debate and rallying against unregulated lollypop ladies.

This and Mid Morning Matters are probably the best stuff he's done.

I find the only slightly worrying thing whilst watching it is I'm starting to see more and more of him in me!
