Album of the day - Depeche Mode (Violetor)

Brilliant album by a brilliant band, not biased or anything but they are well...

Violator is a masterpiece that is only slightly tarnished by one average song, Songs of Faith and Devotion meanwhile is without doubt the sweetest perfection.

Sorry to be in the minority opinion here. Even though I love most 80s music, Depeche Mode sucks donkey balls.

Someone left a copy of the Music for the Masses CD in my room in college. One day I returned to find my drunk roommate and a couple of his friends had put it over the light bulb on our table lamp. In the end it looked like the timepiece in a Dali painting. Nothing more than it deserved.

Thank fuck we're all different....... Depeche Mode have been around since 1980 or so, so I'd say that you are out on a limb here if you think they are shite...

Classic band who are still producing worthy and different music to this day. Violator is a stone cold classic. From Black Celebration to SOFAD, that is a 4 album run which is as good as any.
Top band and top album.
