Warrior! Whatever has happened has happened, He's bought into Pep's ideas and he deserves a lot of praise for his performances this season

Hardly recognisable, I can't even believe what I'm seeing from him on the pitch. Quality on the ball, dominate in the air and kept his positioning reasonably well. Almost making me feel guilty for being such a harsh critic last year, keep up the good work Aleks.

Well I am totally baffled. Yes he has done well this season but I did wonder whether when against one of the top teams he would revert to type. Well he didn't. Defensively he was sound again today. Really strong in the air, throwing himself into strong tackles and timing his runs forward well. Can't believe what pep has done with him.
