Its bizarre isnt it. You could argue he hits them too hard, they get cut out but not they are typically too high. People will find any reason to criticise city players.

Apparently we're all spoilt because we don't think kolarov was a good player, lost count of the times he ambled back when caught out of position again.Been our weak link for years.

No imo fans are spoilt because they cannot respect his contribution over the past 7 years even if you think he has not been our best player.

And its not all fans as some can recognise what he has done but not neccessarily think he has been our best player. Your not a spokesmen for all city fans.

In the main he has been poor,however,thats not to say he hasn't also made some very telling contributions to our progression and success.I think he should have been replaced some time ago,his wages and contract were probably the reason he wasnt.

Anyway,while i'm made up he could be off,i wish him well and thank him for the occasions he performed above average.

Nothing to do with being spoilt though is it, it's something a Utd fan would say . We've just got different opinions of the player, he's been extremely well paid while playing for us & I'm sure he doesn't give a shit what we think.

No doubt he was difficult to move on, based on his wages, but we probably took bigger hits on other players we pushed to the wayside. More likely a manager also saw the positives he could being to the side.

Well the United fans would be right then. Like I said no issue with fans not rating him but some of the vitriol aimed towards him and comments,when he could possibly leave, is not a fair reflection to me of his contribution.

What makes you think he would not care? Did you think the same about Zabba? Or fo you know the two players personally to make that judgement?

City have been a massive part of his career and I have no doubt, he will want to be remembered fondly after duch a long stint.

Kolarov is a good player, but not the kind of player we all seem to want now. He has bailed us out of numerous holes, not the least of which was converting to a solid left sided CB last season.

There have been a few high profile incidents that some people like to use to say he is wank. Absolute garbage "analysis," because it completely ignores the fact that he was the prototypical "flying full back" who was doing what was asked of him by his manager and getting hung out to dry by the weak link left winger who gave away the ball at the end of his lung busting 70-80 yard sprint down the line. That is what a midfielder is for...to cover for him when he makes those runs, but apparently that guy gets away scot free?! As does the winger who gave the ball away!

Over his time at City, he may have lost a step, but he was never the fastest player, but has been fast enough 99% of the time. We do him a disservice to act like he is, was and always will be wank. He hasn't and I thought City fans were better than that.

In fact, I'll go one further. Apart from the level of "heart" shown and willingness to put his head in where feet and elbows are flying, I think he has been a better, faster and more complete full back than Zaba, whom I admire greatly.

I agree about the vitriol he gets ive been guilty of it myself at matches to be fair and while i dissagree about him being a better full back than Zab he deserves more respect of us the fans than he gets
