Couldn't disagree more. Phelan and McDonald were bang average. Clichy was good but Aleks is a much better footballer. In our team where we dominate possession Kolarov gives us so much more.

Unfortunately was never quite good enough. However, any empathy I had for him was lost at Southampton away season before last after which he should never have played for the club again. A shameful performance that should never be tolerated.
