Just having a Aecht Schlenkerla Rauchbier (Weizen) ... A dark German smoked wheat beer .. Lovely stuff...
Got it from a little craft bar that opened last week in Marple.

Ha, funny you should say that. Have a look back at page four.

Just having a couple of these right now.

Very tasty little number.

I really like pale ales, not mega cold though and IPA's when I am in the mood. Craft lagers are great if they don't taste like chemicals like some of the big brands

It's funny as I almost bought this last week as the regular lager is really good. I ended up buying 24 cans of Samuel Adams.

I wasn't 100% keen on this one but it got rave reviews, the one besides it the Pugnacious stuff was nice, I think I found the Hacker too sweet I guess

Tax Old Bud, Once again you are an Oracle of Knowledge. For any US based blues, Lagunitas Pilsner is very close to a European style Pils, excellent

I'll have to try those out mate. Keep an eye out for King Breweries Pilsner. Brewed up in King City. Nice stuff.
It's my dream to move to Creemore one day, Beautiful scenery and a fine brewery. The Lot 9 is my fav.. right now, similar to Steigl I suppose.

It's India Pale Ale all the way for me. Stone IPA, Dogfish Head 120 min., we have some fantastic beer in the States these days. Oh happy day!
I remodelled a bar/ restaurant last year, the owner was obsessed with all the new micro brews to the point where he got rid of Guinness and replaced it with some shitty Porter, I tried about 50 brews, not one of them was worthy of smelling a good English Ale's ass. The yanks have not worked it out in my opinion, too hoppy, too much .....just too much. The subtetly of a good beer can't be over estimated

Not convinced but I like the idea of tasting 50 ales to find out!

Cant say ive heard of them but I will keep me eyes peeled. I was gonna ask if it's close to steigl as I drink that a fair bit!! I wish I took snaps of all the beers I drink but I've only done it the past 3 months I try something new every week or so. In the basement I have 24 flying monkeys smash bomb, 20 cans of Samuel Adams, upper canada (desperate times) and some square nail cans which are lovely. Tempted to buy some side launch wheat ale instead of the regular stuff. I actually really like the muskoka detour, I never knew it was an ipa but some may consider it a bit weak. Creemore looks a nice little town but I've not traveled too much!!
