Uncle's A Saints Fan, So Been To Saint Mary's A Few Times To Watch Em Play, He's Fast, Direct And Definately Looks One For The Future.

But To Be Honest, Saints Have A Player Called Adam Lallana On The Other Wing, Who's Twice The Player & Would Be A Much Better.

...But Whether Either Are City Material...Not 2 Sure TBH

This is just another myth perpuated by the press that arsenal are the guardians of english football and they alone know the right way to bring a player through the ranks.

They have brought a couple through but so have most other teams, this idea that their team is made up by players that they have nurtured and brought through their own youth academy is a joke and im sure gooney will come on a tell me i know nothing but the facts are there

From a first team point of view, I suspect he will get much more opportunities at us than he would at Arsenal. They are absolutely stacked with players in his position. We on the other hand, are threadbare.

You're right Project.

We need this guy in quicksticks.

We MUST look to the future. Our squad reorganisation is at a critical moment. Santa Cruz gone, Adebayor is considered a luxury, Jo is not ever going to succeed in the Premier League.

We need to build our attack round Tevez, Dzeko, Balotelli and Silva.

Beyond that we are threadbare.

Compare that with united, Arsenal and Chelsea and Spurs.

The good news is that City representatives are currently in discussion with the players connexions and I'd remind everyone yet again that the Chief Football Correspondent of The Independent, Sam Wallace, has predicted Oxlade-Chamberlain will be wearing a blue shirt very shortly.

We could build a pretty strong case in all honesty. Look at the players Mancini has put faith in

Boyata - 18 in a CC semi final and the games against Arsenal/Chelsea.
Joe Hart over Given
Balotelli from the age of 17

I think his mantra is if you are good enough you are old enough. If the boy is good enough (and I have no idea as I've only seen YouTube clips), he will certainly get games. This is hardly a Chelsea situation from 3-5 years ago.

hmmm £5M + some nurturing from arsenal or £10M from us, I wonder which sothampton's owners would prefer?
if they care about the boys future, they will let him go to Arsenal. If they are just looking after their pockets, then they will let him go to City

just a tad arrogant to think your club is the only club that can develope young talent, there`s me thinking you are the best at stealing young talent from other clubs,

imho, southampton would be better taking the best price and keeping the player till he developes further into a player capable of fighting for a place in the first team of the potential owners of the kids contract
