Am a Coventry supporter and can definately say that Alex Nimely was to me man of the match tonight, his pace is good and you can clearly see that he's been schooled well with both his positioning, ball control and ability to suss out how, when & where to attack.
Having said that he is still very much a raw talent that will definately be better for the match time, and it may well also be that he'd be better off going out on loan for next season too, but he is one for the future.
Good luck for the rest of the season tho - being married to an avid Man City fan I'll certainly be watching a lot of the games!
Thanks mate and good luck to Coventry (my friend's wife is from there and supports them) - let's hope Alex continues to develop and scores you a hatful this season!
Great to see Alex doing well - getting two penalties in one game?? Fergie will be after him.
Though sorry, but I don't share the ''good luck to cov'' wishes. Ended up going to school there (parents moved there when I was younger via dad's job). Couldn't stand the place and the shit I got at school for being a City fan. Moved back aged 20 in 1983. Dislike cov more than the rags....
When City got relegated in 83, cov were one place above us and escaped - fuckers had been bottom three all season (City entered the bottom three for the first time after losing to Luton!). When relegated in 95 out of the Prem (Lomas going to the corner flag), cov and Southampton had the same points but better goal average....
The worst was aged 10 and some brave twat grabbing my silk scarf wrapped round the wrist (and twatting my mates 15 year old brother who was actually a cov fan!) after a 2-2 game at Highfield Road in 73 or 74. Believe me I bare grudges ha ha
Relegation or administration.... either (or both) will do me!
