I would take the Ox over Walcott any day. But if I could take any Arsenal player right now, it would undoubtedly be Bellerin. What a player, and in one of our most needed positions
And would count as home grown :-)

Not a chance sadly though.

I actually didn't even know he was home grown. we should be going absolutely balls out for him. Arsenal always have a price. offer them 30 mil and I bet they start listening

I would love to see Ox at the Etihad next season. I watched a fair amount of Bayern this season and one thing that really stood out was Pep's use of ball carrying wingers all over the pitch. Pep seems to love players that can beat defenders one on one and City's squad is severely short on options. Perhaps only Sterling and Kun have that ability and I believe we will see a influx of the type of player or at the very least we will see a couple strong dribbling wingers and an increase in emphasis among the existing squad on dribbling ability.

Ox has a lot of faults, but he is scary dribbling at defenders and could play at CF when Pep wants something different. At 22, he has a lot of good years ahead of him and due to his injury record he may come cheap.

That brings me to another interesting thought for this summer. Are we purposely pursuing players that have injuries or more likely, is it possible that we have players stretching out their injury timetables to ensure they can work this summer with Pep. As it stands all of the following players will have the summer off.

Zabba (may be gone) Vinny Laporte (probably coming) Clichy
Gundogan
Fernandinho Nasri (might be gone)

Ox Kun (do we know his status for copa?) ???

That is almost a full, quality squad that misses the Euros and Laporte, Ox, and Gundogan have a lot of ambiguity around the length of the injury lay offs. I know this would not be our best squad and I would expect to see Sterling, Silva KDB Sagna all in our opening day starting line up, but having a squad that can get up to speed with Pep prior to the start of training will be really valuable compared to many other squads that will have big chunks of the core players at Euro 2016. The trend makes me think we will indeed see Ox, Laporte and Gundogan next year and perhaps they will be among our most important players.

Cant see it myself. Same with Wilshere, Sanchez and Bellerin. We go on about all these goons who would improve us, but why would Arsenal sell players we deem worthy enough to help us win?

Because player power is THE power now and money talks!!! Every player wants to play for pep and it's not as if we offer £50 a week!??! Plus our training facilities are the best in England and one of the best in the world!!

All of Man United, Chelsea, Arsenal have state of the art training facilities. Indoor pitches, heated pools, gyms..........were not original in having all of this. Every top Football, NFL, basketball, Ice hockey team state of the art training facilities.

I don’t see it myself, We have Nolito, Sterling, Sane in the squad (I’m assuming Navas goes which is yet to happen). Roberts next year + Moreno and Jesus lining up!
