Alexander Isak | Cried his way to a £130m move

IMO, If he is making them kind of statements publicly, he most have a club or deal in the pipeline, or he would be very stupid if he didn’t

lets hope this transfer does not happen. best for everyone if Isak would go to Saudi league dont now how that works tho with FFP given Newcastle ownership.

last thing we need if we want the title to miss out on Wirtz to direct rival who then ends up with Ekitike, Isak, Frimpong, Kerkez as well.
Even if id did happen,Is That better than Haaland, Marmoush, Cherki, Foden,Reijnders, Rodri, Ait Nouri. It might be but might just as easily not be too..

Last 5 seasons, transfermarkt has it at:
Liverpool - €480m net
City - €367m net

That also ignores a lot of youth player sales and add ons and sell on, of which we have done significantly better than them at.

I would imagine they have spent at least €200m more net than us in the last 5 years.
Do you maybe know where all our incomes are listed (sell on, add ons, youth etc.)?

I will say that the timing of this news is slightly strange. Why would he wait until the day after Arsenal and Liverpool both splash huge sums on new number 9's...

All the rumours were for those teams. Obviously these clubs aren't out on him now, but would be difficult.

I suspect a big club will come from nowhere with a huge offer. If not, I don't really understand why he did this. He must have spoken with some clubs. Isak can certainly play off the left... js.

Can’t see Newcastle selling him to Liverpool to be honest, particularly after Liverpool got Ekitike. Think they'd prefer abroad or keeping him for a season. Also think that outlay would be insane for Liverpool

I guess with Diaz 80m, Nunez 40-50m and Jota insurance? they can afford it.. surely if they go back again for Gordon as well it would be amazing lol. I cant see any other landing spot really.. Their numbers up top looks a but weak really, they still need cover and quality
Barca I guess could happen next summer perhaps though, no other spot in the world for him really. Saudi move is a joke at this occasion
City got Haaland and Real got Mbappe

Surprised PSG are not going for him. That would complete their team

I dont know how it would work but he's the sort of player every club should be interested in.

I would guess £150m for anybody that wants him.

Do Liverpool really spend £400m+ this summer?

Do Arsenal drop Gyokeres and make it work?

Or will Saudi be the only option left?

Frustrating for Newcastle fans, essentially too late to the PSR party, the same institutions that are holding them down are now tapping up their players.

Liverpools wage bill may become an issue. VDV and Salah on big salaries and they are adding a few other biggies too.
