Alexander Isak | Cried his way to a £130m move

It's a strange one this as he's waited until Liverpool and Arsenal both both strikers before telling them he wants out. I can only assume Liverpool have said they will sign him and in some ways that will really help us as Newcastle will be like Brazil 70 when they play them next season. It's very odd though.

I thought if Newcastle won the CC they could build on it, but it really doesn't look good with Isak wanting out.

Not sure why Newcastle are even allowing it.

Newcastle should threaten to throw him in the reserves for 3 years. He has 3 years left, power is with the club there. Lets see how well he does coming back at 29, 3 years with no competitive football.

Threaten that and then get him to sign a new contract with a £150m release clause.

This is bang out of order to be fair:

If I were Newcastle, I'd genuinely tell him we're throwing you in the reserves for 3 years and we wont even pick you for a reserve game. He has 3 years left, power is with the club there. Lets see how well he does coming back at 29, 3 years with no competitive football.

What an absolute **** Isak is

Just seen that on BBC Football. How are Newcastle accepting that? That suggests to me that they are not even trying to keep him.

Something seems wrong at Newcastle seems to be talk of there best players leaving and not even getting their targets now. Ramsdale only on loan instead of a permanent transfer? Have the Saudis had enough?

The outcome will decide who this looks. If they end up keeping him, then fine, him training there instead of in Newcastle whilst the rest of the team are away on the tour isn't the end of the world. But if this ends in him being sold, Newcastle have set a bad precedent. Clubs will be circling around their best players, and the players will know they can sulk their way into a move.

Yep, this is a huge moment for them imo.

They bang on about being the richest club in the world and have the best stadium and fans and heritage, this Saudi money supposedly gave them all the power and money in the world, instead they just got in the CL and there best players are looking to leave and they have signed Ramsdale on loan so far. It's embarrassing really.
