Alexander Isak | Cried his way to a £130m move

Slot must be pissing his pants that he's come in and they have backed him how they have. A penny for Klopps thoughts mind!

I guess to be to fair to them now's the time to do it. Uncertainty at City and Pep on the way out, new stand opened at Anfield. They've kept up with the pace for a decade and now see a five year window to pull out in front. It's now or never to spend big.

I don't want to flap but him and Wirtz is Kev and Haaland quality from a few years ago. It's a scary combination. We'll need Reijnders to go up a level and Foden to get close to the player we hoped he'd be to get close.
We ain’t getting within 20 points. That’s being kind.

I mean there were ready to buy Bellingham and bid 100 million + for Caicedo its just players rejected him. Liverpool will go big for players who they think are worth it, but they are also happy not buy anyone if they believe the options are not good enough. Im 100% confident that if they couldnt get Isak then they wouldn't have bought anyone else.

Aye, they've used the stability Klopp brought them to become a decently run club. And have used the 115 charges and Pep leaving as a window to put their foot down. That's modern football I guess!

Agree. I think they've bought their way to the title.

If there was ever a year to try something new, its this year. Or, since we have no midfield, let's just drop 5 in the back and counter.

Top 4 battle for us it seems.

Its 100% realistic if not optimistic... we're barely better if at all from what was a just a top 4 battle finish a few months ago whilst the teams above and around us have undeniably reloaded and strengthened notably more than we have.

Apologies however if you were just thawed out from a glacier from three years ago and assumed we're still who we were then and not seen any of the fall from grace replays from the last 12 months as well as our current state.

Have fun catching up, and get back to us with a clever new gif that actually fits.

They don't spend like oil rich City though the bastards, poor Geordies have got absolutely bullied , then again we kind of did the same thing to the tarquins in first few years after the takeover, it's the media hypocrisy that pisses me off.

Liverpool have spent a similar amount to what we have on one fucking player, and we’re the one in dire need of quality. Some ambition from our board that.

Unless they get 4 in a row, I couldn’t give a fuck. We can’t win it every year, but that was some achievement by us. They won’t match it despite who they’ve bought.
They managed to compete in the head-to-head games even though they had a weaker team compared to us. We have to atleast do the same as a minimum, not give them the easiest 6 points like last season.

It’s ok, but it’s no Haaland. The excitement we all felt knowing we were highly likely to sign the single most coveted player in the world was off the scale. This is all very much a case of ‘and?’

Scouse cunts.

The amount of shit from the press for spending £100m on Grealish, the dippers do it twice in one window and the media declare it good business.
