Interesting tactic from Labour forcing a vote tomorrow to implement in full the recommendations from the standards committee to beef up the ministerial code rather than the Johnson version where it gets watered down. That would mean he would be expected to resign if the privileges committee decided he lied to parliament.

he's relying on how shit Labour are. for me he has to go. an embarrassment.
The Tories have been in power for 12 years and have fucked up everything they have touched. Johnson has taken their incompetence and lack of integrity to another level. If they replace him, which I doubt, the will almost certainly put another useless fucker in his place.

Absolutely fuck all to do with Labour.

I think the country needs to have three dry days leading up to any further general elections .
And I’m not talking about the weather , how he ever got elected is beyond comprehension.
Jumping up and down on the white cliffs waving a Union Jack probably helped some in need thinking they’d be better off with him.
Absolutely unbelievable how this man got in power.

1, they have not fucked everything up.
2, Labour are part of the problem as they are not a viable alternative.

The beginning of the end should have been when his government fucked up Covid and allowed many needless deaths. The fact that got brushed under the rug and the vote is over a party is depressing frankly.
Agree - its the trump playbook of fill the news media with, a constant stream of it and you will get away with most of it, maybe even all of it.

I think the country has had enough the question is how are tories going to move on, who and when?

1, they have fucked most thigs up - a combination of corruption and incompetence at every turn.

2. That was true at the last election but not any longer. You could also argue brexit is not a viable policy but here we are.

Other than getting Brexit done properly, managing the pandemic response, dealing with the cost of living crisis, sorting out immigration, risking a flare up of the troubles in NI, increasing the likelihood of Scotland going independent and partying when everyone was in lockdown they’ve done fine. We’ve got blue passports and crowns on our pint glasses so what more would we want.

However poor you think Labour are, it would be difficult to imagine them doing worse, especially now they’ve booted Corbyn out of the parliamentary party.

Maybe GoNads let the cat out the bag earlier. We're going to war with Ukraine as a distraction...
