Well done Starmer. "The sinking ship is deserting the rat".

I noticed Raab sitting throughout PMQs with a glazed expression on his face. I suspect he was running through what to put in his resignation letter.
Deputy Prime Minister worrying about how he might handle the poison chalice and take over this shitshow

Maybe he had something planned for this weekend and another holiday booked for August

The most extreme option he could try would be to demand loyalty or be deselected. He could go into an election with a new slate of nodding dogs. He did a purge last time to clear out those blocking his Brexit plans.

However at this point he has no authority. I genuinely don't think he can replace all these ministers and he is already in control of a zombie government. If he doesn't go in the next few days the tory machine will move against him with some speed.

At the moment, Tories are choosing between Boris and another Tory.

If he calls an election, they have to choose between Boris and losing power.

It's probably too late now, he should have done it inbetween the vote of no confidence and the Pincher scandal.

This Committee is quite revealing. It reveals that Johnson is embarrassingly ill-prepared to answer anything, which is not news, but, more worryingly, the questions reveal what a dreadful, dreadful state the country is in today.
This is what PMQs should be every week, not the bear pit of pre-selected questions and back slapping.
