Not sure Jenkin will appreciate being talked over and told that his question is wrong. Just confirms (in my opinion) that Johnson doesn't care about this committee, and expects them to recommend punishment. He's arguing to the wider audience to get the Commons to let him off.
Jenkin's rebuttal was superb - if you'd said that at the time, we wouldn't be here!
