The detail is as bad as it can be for him. But it doesn't rule out a return. Boris has a very empty life, he is devoted to the pursuit of power. He is also notoriously lazy and populist politics is perfect for lazy people. So an attempted return seems inevitable.

There is also a trajectory of post truth right wing politics that suits him well. The right wing base are increasingly willing to believe in whatever they want to hear. They love a BSer.

Agree, whilst he is as lazy as, his narcissism won't allow him to let this be the end. I do wonder whether he'll seek to do that within the conservative party or whether he'll try and strike out with his own bunga bunga populist party. There's probably enough bad actors out there who wish to further destabilise the UK that he'll have no trouble getting resources.

He’s always pictured going out or coming back from running but Is a fat fook. Is he running to Greggs? He’s built like Luke Shaw.

watch the videos carefully - he always comes around a corner or from behind a hedge - he staggers a good 50 yards daily - more often than not there is a black Range Rover behind him - thats the car he just got out of the whole thing is a sham

Lib Dems calling for him to be stripped of his ex-pm allowance (up to 115k per annum). That probably won't happen but you have to say that given he will almost certainly use the money in a way that would be detrimental to the country, it should.

Max Hastings just been on pointing out that the real issue isn't really Johnson who has been a scumbag in plain sight his entire life but rather the people who, knowing full well what he was, enabled him because it suited their goals.
It's the same ERG gang that push Cruella to the front as well.

Look at her in front of the HoC Select Committee on You Tube PoliticsJOE to see just how bad she is.
It's embarrassing that she is the Home Secretary, wouldn't have her as the Parish Council secretary.

Listening in to 5Live phone-in, the home of the sycophant, there are still people expressing support for BoJo - "Sunak was there as well" "It was only having a piece of cake". Totally missing the point that the enquiry was not if he went to a party social gathering business meeting or not, it was whether he had lied to Parliament. He said he had been advised blah blah blah, then the advisers said "we didn't advise him". Case closed, take him down.

I don't think he sees himself as a leader of a small time alternative party. I think he's far more likely to keep lobbing grenades at Tory HQ until they let him back in. But either way it's disaster for the tories. They deserve it.

It's quite scary the number of people who don't seem to get that this is not about what happened at parties but about not tolerating a completely broken system where our PM brazenly lies and spouts any old shit to our other eleted representatives. The fact that lots of people seem to accept that situation as priced into the system shows the damage these last few years have done to our creaking democracy.
