It's rated 12a and from the bits I've seen as a similar theme to Guardians of The Galaxy. Suitable for Teens and mature pre-teens but not really kiddies.

The mistake you make there is that you assume he watched it to write a critique. He was famously a motoring correspondent who could deliver an article on a car which had been loaned to him but never having driven it. He simply opined based on what he had speed read in the articles of theirs but peppering his articles with casual racism / sexism and a bit of Latin. I expect this entire article based on a film review by someone else in a paper and from what someone had told him.
