as has been said he likes to be liked - he doesn't do confrontation, couldn't sack a guy remember - and wants to please everybody and that is what you got - a speech full of rhetoric and no substance designed to win back support thats gone over to Farage and nothing more - if he is going to the country on a manifesto that is basically what you said above rather than concrete costed policies he will lose more seats than even Mayday did
