No I din't cticise, I said I don't belive him, this government have made this promise before and then gone back on their word, and his dishonest past makes me err to the side of this being another false promise.

Well why not wait and see. Surely you can see he has made a great start.

He will be immense trust me.

In other words you’re saying he’s telling lies to win the next election.
Fair enough.
I don’t think I did say that, no. Just that he’s a much smarter political operator than May. It amuses me no end that Remainers were happy to see Boris elected and that the penny still hasn’t dropped that he’s a completely different kettle of fish to Theresa May. The more people continue to underestimate him the better I like it.

And he has promised now to stop the persecution of Northern Ireland verterans. Total common sense. I have been wowed by his first few days.

He promises an investment in the north and you criticise!
He's certainly saying the right things I only hope his actions are as good as his words, that remains to be seen.

Anyway no point announcing HS3 while we still have a useless shower of twats like northern and their shite running stock running the local trains

Boris is in election campaign mode and the election will come before the policies will have to be funded. He’s not going into this election pledging to make the elderly sell their homes to fund their care that’s for sure, I think we’ll see a lot of popular policies being floated over the next few weeks. For example, Boris has recognised that he’s vulnerable to public concerns over crime and police numbers. Now if he’s tackled on this he’ll blame May for the cuts and point to the fact that he’s addressed this problem straight away, issue neutralised. Just one example, but I’m convinced Boris is in election mode and has surrounded himself with shrewd advisers who will be assessing which voters are undecided and targeting them with policy announcements. That, allied to the fact he’s an excellent communicator and campaigner, Labour is in disarray and led by a useless fucker, and the Brexit Party is open to the idea of an electoral agreement, leads me to believe he’ll win the election comfortably.
Makes me smile - just think back to the Corbyn promises in 2017 - some of the same people now slagging off Johnson had a different view then

It is all just tribal

Of course it is, plus the tories promise this stuff all the time, may promised all kinds of stuff and then they turn round and flick the Vs as they suddenly abandon the proposals.

This is pure electioneering, promising everything befoe he calls a GE.

Also youor oroginal point stands then that all the people on here in 2017 who said labours manifesto was unworkable and money doesn't grow on trees will still have that stance now I expect about BJ nicking labour policies.

Wake up to read he is looking at abolishing stamp study on properties upto half a million. Fantastic news and a great idea.

He really is for the many and not the few.

The many being the hard working people of this country.

For me those attacking him can simply fuckoff. Sheep.
He's "looking at it" is he?
I'm sure he will be "looking at" but never implementing a lot of things in the run up to the next election.
We need to build more affordable housing.
Not tax gimmicks that inflate house prices and benefit a few that have exchanged contracts just at the time of the tax cut.

The cheeky fucker standing in MOSI talking about this great place, it was nearly closed down due to these wankers cutting arts funding.

Your last paragraph is correct. Labour's spending plans were fully costed, mainly through increased taxes. People may not agree with this, but at least they were costed.
Where are the Tories going to find the money for their spending plans and tax cuts?
Err.....through increased borrowing? A complete abandonment of their economic principles going back to Thatcher and the stick they have repeatedly used to bang Labour about the head with.
