Have spent some time re reading the various sources and realise the basic error I made regarding submarines. I was looking at the "at sea" January 2022 list. Given the expert knowledge around this I really wouldn't have minded if that had been pointed out, I would have found that very helpful.
The other figures are from the Parliamentary sub committee on defence meeting Dec 2021 where they came to the conclusion "we're a bit thin on the ground"
