Surely Jeremy Hunt has to be in the frame. He's not been part of Johnson's Cabinet at any time so has a clean slate in that regard, and has often been critical of Johnson over the past few years. I know he didn't cover himself in glory as Health Secretary but I think he would be one of the more sensible choices out there.

It's weird enough that Boris Johnson pretended like he was solely responsible for the UK governments support of Ukraine, but at least we can put that down to his churchilian cosplay fantasies.
