Have to agree, I never found him funny just a shouty pain in the arse

What a hypocrite.
I bet he eats food as well, whilst children starve in the developing world.
Just how do such folk sleep at night?
Christ - this place gets more like an online psychiatric unit every day.
I think the point he was trying to make is that Bloomsbury is not exactly poor working class. these are the houses currently for sale in the area
PRICE No of PROPERTIES
under £100,000 3
£100,000 to £200,000 0
£200,000 to £300,000 8
£300,000 to £400,000 35
£400,000 to £500,000 25
£500,000 to £1,000,000 246
over £1,000,000 441
average price is £1,716,000
So you can't possibly be a Marxist and live in a nice area.
Thanks for the heads-up - I'll tell Mrs Fetlocks to box her stuff off, and we'll sell up, donate the money to Greenpeace, and live in a squat in Little Hulton.
What is equally funny is all the working class Tories who slave away for 60 years to make some boss rich, so that they can own a two bedroom terrace in Brinnington.
They really are living the dream.
Maybe Sayle believes that we should all be able to have a nice house, rather than a crap one, or no house at all.
What an insane concept - let's section him.

Now that a fat, unfunny, scouse fuckwit has done the same in a national newspaper he should get the same level of ridicule and abuse.nijinsky's fetlocks said:Oh look - it's this topic again.
'I don't find this comedian funny, so how on earth can anyone else?'
'Ooh, you're so right - I just hate him for being left wing, but I'll jump on the bandwagon and claim he's unfunny too, unlike those sideplitting Tory comedians such as Jim Davidson - now there's a funny bloke'.
'So he's a lefty and unfunny, and a scouser - let's just burn him'.
'And he doesn't like Israel killing kids, and has the audacity to say so - what gives him the right?'
Blah blah blah...
You're the lone voice on the jury of twelve good men a true here fetlocks. He's been convicted of the heinous crime of being a fat, unfunny, scouse twat on a majority verdict.nijinsky's fetlocks said:west didsblue said:Yesterday some half wit here on Bluemoon introduced paedophilia to the Israel/Palestine discussion, He was rightly ridiculed, slagged off and presumably banned. Yep, and I have condemned Sayle's analogy as 'bizarre' on this thread - that doesn't in itself render the rest of his views invalid.
It was a daft comparison, and one which should never have been made.
That said, if he makes some folks laugh, as he clearly does judging by the fact he owns half of London, according to my learned colleagues, despite being a lefty hypocrite, then he must be funny to some, just as Miranda is, although I have yet to ascertain her views on the proposed ceasefire.
Do folk stop listening to Wagner, because he had dodgy politics, and was Hitler's favourite composer?
My point being that humans are multi-faceted, and if you look hard enough you can find something to dislike in everyone.
Granted, I find it easier than most, but you get the gist.
My point being that comedy is purely subjective, and the political views of a comedian are largely irrelevant.

But look on the bright side, he's got me and you in total agreement. I never found him remotely funny and always thought the term 'alternative comedian' meant they were an alternative to one that was funny.
Now imagine if Henry Fonda had just said that in Twelve Angry Men. Would have saved an awful lot of time and trouble.nijinsky's fetlocks said:Prestwich_Blue said:You're the lone voice on the jury of twelve good men a true here fetlocks. I wouldn't mind, but I don't find him funny either, and I can't stand scousers, so I'm not even sure why I'm defending him anymore.
Ok, fuck him off - the people have spoken - I shall bow to the wisdom of my peers.
