Excellent post, and some good points in there. If the shoe were on the other foot I'd be thinking along similar lines, but I just think when it really comes to down to it the board at Arsenal will take the money this summer. The only way out is if they can talk Sanchez into signing a new deal. Now I don't know the guy obviously but if reports are true, he has his heart set on playing for Pep. In your current position of no CL I'm not sure you're going to be able to convince him to stay.
And it's a scenario i can't rule out either. I know some folk are not big on rival fans coming on here, but i'm not one to come on here & give it the big i am, we'll do this & we'll do that. I'm just trying to point out that there's more to this than a simple business transaction. It might well end up that he does still go, fair do's if he does.
