Excellent post, and some good points in there. If the shoe were on the other foot I'd be thinking along similar lines, but I just think when it really comes to down to it the board at Arsenal will take the money this summer. The only way out is if they can talk Sanchez into signing a new deal. Now I don't know the guy obviously but if reports are true, he has his heart set on playing for Pep. In your current position of no CL I'm not sure you're going to be able to convince him to stay.

And it's a scenario i can't rule out either. I know some folk are not big on rival fans coming on here, but i'm not one to come on here & give it the big i am, we'll do this & we'll do that. I'm just trying to point out that there's more to this than a simple business transaction. It might well end up that he does still go, fair do's if he does.

For me if a player doesn't want to be at your club I would just get the best price for him and say adios!
I count City in with everybody else, if Aguero was behaving like Sanchez i'd want him gone.
Tevez was a kind of similar situation, i like most wanted him gone ASAP.

Come on bravo kick up a fuss:-)

What's he actually done wrong though? Refused to sign a new contract so far? Said he wants to play in & win the Champions League but the decision remains with Arsenal? By all accounts he's still on good terms with his teammates, is still in contact with the manager.

If he starts to kick up a fuss, then it might be another issue.

PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN have reportedly sent their sporting director to London in a bid to finalise a deal for Alexis Sanchez.

Le Parisien via GFFN claims Antero Henrique is in the capital and will attempt to broker a deal with Arsenal for the Chilean forward.

If we pay 50m or 60m I don't care because when we win the league it won't matter even if we pay 70m, Sanchez is a game changer and adding him to our already potent attack will bring us the league and put us in good position to seriously compete for the CL. Not to mention how much the young players will learn from him. He would be an invaluable acquisition, perfect age as well, still will be a top player for another 2-3 years even after that he could probably still be effective off the bench and in cup games etc.
