Weren't we interested in him last year? Or did those reports turn out to be false.Aubamyang 28 absolutely rapid scores shit loads of goals would suit the Premiership imo.

Surely we knew Sanchez and Alves were kinda egotistical, self-indulgent dicks though, it's pretty obvious.

Yeah exactly, they didn't particularly seem like City characters. But maybe that was the point. You assume our manager would know better than anyone else?
Surely he will be more weary now after the Alves turn around plus sanchez playing in France would save his energy for the world cup rather than a tough slog in the premier pretty sure Alves had this in mind when he chose Paris instead of usYou assume our manager would know better than anyone else?

Plenty top players fall into this category.
I'm not sure that confidence in your ability and ego are the same thing. Nor are egotistical and having an ego.You have to have an ego to make it to the top. It's the other parts of their personality that make some players unlikable. Being a motormouth for example.
I don't think getting Dembele off Dortmund is gonna be much easier than getting Sanchez off Arsenal. The Dortmund management are real bastards. It's probably also good to remember that we thought we had Sanchez in the bag when he was at Udinese, until Barca came in late.
Garry Cook wasted little time slamming the money down for a guy, can't remember his name, but it worked out rather well?
Everyone has money now, so it's a little more difficult, but moving on the likes of Mbappe and Dembele would not be the worst moves in the world.
