Not sure why some are making such a fuss about the silly picture, having a flu won't prevent him from being professional and show up for training even if he is sick, if he is not able to play then he will be told what to do next until he is healthy again.
There's no evidence that he is being a c*** nor has been for his current club, in fact quite the opposite, I doubt this is something that we should be concerned about if we end up signing him.

He is the only player on that club that wants to win and keeps trying, that alone shows he cares about doing the best for the team.
In my opinion he is just fed up with the lack of ambition and after 3 years I can't blame him for wanting to move on.
