What would be the threat of such a transfer request?
How does it work?
Are there comparable examples where a player has been successful by doing so?

Somebody out there to give some short input on that?

They watch them compete with each other in training every day. If the manager doesn't even trust them to do 30 mins in a league game I think that says enough. Gabriel Jesus is 19 and he got picked ahead of Aguero. Joe Hart forced Given out of a spot after Mancini gave him the nod.

I can see that but which young players are likely to come through this year with Pep ? We saw that last season he gave Bravo far more playing time than he deserved but I doubt he will give any of the homegrown a look in and what places can they fight for ? He is filling them with his bought players so they will be given chance after chance which hopefully they will not need.

Last season I thought Pep was actually picking certain players just to demonstrate we needed to buy better players rather than pick a homegrown for an extended run.
I understand he has just his contract time with us and needs results quickly but I honestly see little future for any academy breakthroughs while he is here.
Great manager with his choices but forget homegrown.

Funny if he just genuinely feels shite after all this stick. All helps in making him want to leave if the fans are turning.
