Kun and Kelechi are goal scorers but they are not the technically gifted team players like Jesus and Sanchez and its those type of players that will thrive and work under pep going forwards.

Just look at yesterdays performance and the way Jesus, Sterling, Sane, Kevin and Merlin worked together and Sanchez in the mix would work equally as well.
So what do you propose we do with Aguero? There's no way we can accommodate that many sure fire week in week out starters.

If we don't get Sanchez. I don't see Coman as an alternative. Coman is just a speedy young winger with no end product. Hope we don't get him.

But if Sanchez truly wants Bayern, then it's game over. We can't outbid Bayern since Arsenal would probably rather sell him cheaper to them than give him to a rival.

We can outbid Bayern though and, though Arsenal will want to sell to a non-title rival, they won't do so at the behest of millions. City offer £20m more than Bayern and Kroenke will drive Sanchez to the Etihad personally.

More pertinent is this badge slapping celebration he's been doing lately, with many thinking it's an allusion that he's staying.

With Kun staying for next season there isn't a desperate need for signing Sanchez.
We still need more depth. Navas and Nolito are not good enough. If Aguero stays I think we need 1 versatile forward to replace Navas/Nolito. Sane and Sterling can't play every game and they need competition so don't get complacent.

Although Sanchez is an excellent player signing him will cause more problems than it will it solve as he wouldn't be at all happy with a squad role.

Most City players right now have a "squad role", Pep has only named an unchanged side once, today, and did things the same at Barca and Bayern too.

It is all down to getting the squad chemistry right. Sanchez will cause more problems especially with Kun remaining at the club and to be honest I prefer Aguero to stay (especially with Gabriel Jesus providing much needed competition). On top of that despite him only have a year left on his current deal, Arsenal will get a very good fee

I'd love him here, especially on the cheap. But it's more important than that. If they let him go, they'll always be a selling club. Never be a title threat.
