Im sure the club are keen to get him in but not too concerned about whether he can play at Anfield. If he isnt involved tomorrow though we know it is very close to happening and Wenger's comments today suggest the deal is almost there. Being the clown he is he probably still has no idea who to spend the money on amd therefore we will be waiting a while until they get their replacement in.

Yep, 100%. I'm not as excited about this signing as I was 3-4 months ago is all. Guess it's a bit of 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it' going on in my head, albeit one injury to one of the front 3 then everything becomes a lot harder. Glad I'm not Pep having to pick the team if/when he joins.
Surely it isn't black and white as you make out. Sanchez gives us tactical and rotation options as well as back up in case of injury. Going for multiple trophies as we seem to be doing, we'll need all the firepower we can muster.

Wegner will probably play him tomorrow hoping he can say - well I agreed to sell him it's not my fault one of his team mates accidentally put him out for the season whilst hugging him for luck. City can still have him for £30 million and his BUPA bill.

In reality I think Sanchez would just 'get flu' if its not sorted by then.

What did Wenger say today? (Without me going through 59 pages)

Manchester City have made a new £20m bid for Alexis Sanchez (28) after agreeing terms on a contract worth around £250,000-a-week. [The Guardian]

City insist they have no intention of increasing their offer if it is rejected by Arsenal. [The Guardian]

Lol Txiki!!

Txiki knows that Arsenal are gonna sign that Argentine forward..£20 million will get the deal done. Sanchez doesn't wanna play anymore for them and squad members don't like his presence. Consider it done.
