Alexis Sanchez

Imagine the scenes when Sanchez steps onto the pitch against Liverpool alongside the likes of De Bruyne, Bernardo/Silva, Aguero/Jesus and Sane.

That's more than enough to blow a load.

Chile plays against Bolivia on September 5th. I do not think it's possible to see him on the field. Against Watford or Crystal Palace is more likely mate.

The media attach hashtag MUFC to everything they post so it's no wonder this then gets tweeted and becomes gospel. It's difficult then to ascertain what the truth is but the longstanding information, that Sanchez has been keen on a move to us, seems more likely.

Sanchez would score more goals than Sterling and create more chances than Sterling meaning we score more goals meaning we have a greater chance of winning the league, that's what Pep is thinking.
Exchanging Sterling for Sanchez will be dumb, even if they gave us money. But exchanging players and also giving them money would be the height of stupidity.

One has 2 more years at most, the other has 10. Its not even worth discussing.

Ok, whats the real story? I'm hearing the Rags are bidding on him now as well. Can we just get on with it and get him signed?

As many have said on here once the ushited rumours start it usually means the deal is close.

Well, they have to have first refusal don't they.

Every decent player who ever moves, has to have been considered and rejected by United, or they would have gone there, obviously.

I take it you've all seen this? Aleix Sanchez presents Chile manager with official document. Was on Sam lee's Twitter.

sorry if it's already been done.

With reports of developments in Alexis Sanchez to Manchester City emerging from England, the Chilean press are doing as best they can to keep everyone updated on what is going on with their star, and it’s not gone down well with his national team’s manager, Juan Antonio Pizzi.

Earlier on Tuesday, we relayed a claim from t13 that Sanchez had asked for 24 hours from Wednesday night onwards to sort out ‘personal issues’, which basically meant a transfer.

Well, La Tercera back up these claims, and provide a few more details.

According to the Chilean newspaper, Sanchez arrived yesterday at the Juan Pinto Duran sports complex, his national team’s base, at around 12.19pm, and waited for his teammates to finish training so he could talk to his manager.

As La Tercera put it, ‘he had something very important to tell him’.

They claim the Arsenal forward presented Pizzi with an ‘official document’ and asked him ‘formally’ to ‘relax tomorrow’s pre-game meeting’ in order to ‘carry out a series of personal procedures related to his future’ a.k.a his transfer.

Apparently, this took the Chile manager by surprise and made matters even more complicated ahead of a vital World Cup qualifier against Paraguay.

However, La Tercera state Pizzi is resigned to the fact there isn’t much he can do, regardless of whether this has disrupted his plans or not, and it seems he is likely ‘to have to concede’ to the player’s request.

Good news for Manchester City, it seems.

I can't believe anyone thinks the swap for Sterling is a realistic outcome, it's just not good value at all.

If it was a swap for Sterling, Aguero, Jesus, Sane and Kompany and we gave them £50m then maybe I would think it was true.
