Its such a ridiculous notion, invented by those that would seek to cause us harm, that the club feel they dont have to.Besides,we are still playing our cards very close.
I certainly hope that's the case. Arsenal are the team negotiating from a position of fundamental weakness, not us. I'd be absolutely dismayed if we blinked first and gave them Sterling. The aim of this transfer is surely to massively strengthen our squad, not just improve it a bit in the short term.
Don't forget, United, and Chelsea are sniffing around too, City can't be too complacent.
I'm sure the £50m is just an opening bid, Arsenal were always going to rebuff that, and it's just a matter of reaching that tipping point with the clock ticking.
Keep Sanchez.
have a pissed off dressing room who want him gone,
lose him for nothing next summer,
potentially have to have him training alone.
End up having to sell him on the cheap in January because because the relationship has gone toxic, Sanchez refuses to play goes on strike etc.
Outside of the UK, we are seen as an elite club, it's only the British media and the old top 4 elite that are trying to put us down...and failing abysmally.I personally think we are seeing a seismic shift in the footballing landscape in England, City have bulldozed itself into the elite and whilst many in the media, other club owners, managers and players have not wanted to recognise it this just about puts the final nail in the old elite coffin haha
Arsenal best player doesn't want to play there and with a year l ft on his contract wants a move to us! now we have bought other players from other clubs before eg,Sterling but for me this is the biggest purchase others might not agree and point to the Tevez signing or Sterling but the hurt this will cause Arsenal is huge and a worldwide superstar signing for City will be broadcast to the world. Just my opinion anyway.
