This is pure theatre. We all know that this will be the last minute transfer that gets completed at the death. In the meantime 5 hours of meltdowns, rainclouds, is he/isn't he, and forum members unravelling to look forward to.

Could have agreed a fee yesterday at the very least, when Arsenal were receptive to offers. The club instead fucked about with offers of £45m and then left it until the afternoon of the last day of the window.
What the fuck are you on? You think these tweets are in realtime? Most reports are indicating that City out in the second bid of 60mil early morning today.

Fuck off blaming Txiki is this doesn't go through. We've been in touch all summer, if Arsenal don't sell because they ran out of time that's on them. We agreed a deal with the player and even agreed a fee with the club. Not sure what else he could've done.

So why no sale?

Wait you were in on the negotiations?!!??! That's amazing

Arsenal piss away 60m to keep a disgruntled player, branded a snake by the fans, who can buy out his own contract as early as January and leave for absolutely nothing to the team they could have got 60m off.

That's fucking insane.

All summer long Arsenal said he wasn't for sale. Yesterday they said he was only being sold if they got a replacement. Today they apparently accepted an offer on condition they got a replacement but they couldn't get one. Until yesterday he was not for sale.
