Arsenal fans will go into full meltdown and I would love to see that but this transfer isn't happening soon at all and have serious doubts if it even happens. Wenger would rather him run out his contract than come here this summer and for once I can see the board backing him on seeking to a Premier League team.
I think City would want to get this done before 17th June and Arsenal would try their best to delay which would push it beyond 2nd July. He said "poco" which I don't think is quite as narrow as "few" in english which would mean 3-7 days.

Wenger can deflect the blame onto the player who wants to play for us. No need to drag the deal out Wenger will tell the fans did everything to keep him blah blah blah but player wanted out. No doubt Sanchez playing at the Emirates can expect a few boos :-)
