I agree mate, however that's what pissed me off about Pep (and Txiki) last season - EVERY City fan on planet earth knew our fullbacks were either wank or over the hill, it was flagrant disregard to not strengthen either side in either window - I said in Jan that even signing Bertrand then would have given the second half of our season a lift.
You can't say they didn't try, Bellerin, Alaba, Rodriguez to name a few, if you can't make the deal then you need to go with what you've got, no point in panic buying and being stuck with another Danny Mills to sit out his contract?

I accept that, but there will also be losers in the squad and they will in the medium term be casualties. That's my opinion. If we have a successful season then maybe it works out well for all, but the coming Premiership season looks the most exciting and competitive ever.

There will always be losers in the squad unless you promise that each player will get the same amount of games. Was Nolito a loser: Yes. Was Navas loser: Yes. Was Kelechi a loser: Yes. That's the nature of having a squad to pick from. There will be players who don't get the game-time they think they deserve next season, but that's always been - and always will be - the case.

Yes I know. But a few City fans seem to think that if we do sign Sanchez we can keep a fantastic 6 happy. The more likely outcome is that Sanchez in means, in time, one out. If you consider any Sanchez transfer, you have to balance the positive with a negative and work out for you if it equals plus or minus.

Even if Sanchez doesn't come, it's likely one or two of that group will leave in the next two seasons.

Also if you look at the age of Sterling, Sane & Jesus, it's actually feasible for both Sanchez & Aguero to be gone, before any of those even reach anything like their peak.

I wouldn't bother mate, even if he's taking the piss I think there are so many who set up their stalls early. It's the same for Aguero as it is for Sterling and, for further evidence, check out what so many were saying about Silva last year.
Dead right. As I said shiny new toys. Sergio is the best striker at City in my lifetime, which is a long time unfortunately. I hope Jesus turns out to be as good
