Seems Cross has also had an about turn....with the lady turn again?

Would have been/will be a good addition to the squad but age/money being spoken about it's not a fantastic value package for us.

There's a world cup this summer and if we need to can blow anyother team out if the water for almost whoever we fancy ...sit back and enjoy the ride lads.

If we miss out on Sanchez it'll be a shame, but I'm not worried about him going to the rags. I don't think he'll suit the park the bus Mourinho way and think he'll quite quickly become frustrated there, we've seen that he can become a divisive figure when things aren't going his way and with the haircut and other egos they have there it could be quite entertaining to watch the fallout.

Don't get me wrong he is a top class footballer, capable of match winning moments and I hope we do sign him as I think he would thrive under Pep. The flip side of that is his age, question marks over his attitude and how he would even fit in with the united 'style' of play and mourinhos negative approach to all big games.

The best thing about this saga is the strong position the club is in these days, we don't have to over pay for anyone any more. If a players financial drive is greater than their desire to be part of what we're building then we don't go beyond an offer we feel is reasonable. Obviously it's taken us a long time to get to this point, but the power has shifted. If we can go on and win the league and potentially another trophy a long the way this season all the signs are there for us to kick on and really establish ourselves, something we were unable to do after previous title wins. We certainly have the right man in charge for that to happen.

If Sanchez doesn't want to be part of that then fair enough, as good a player as he is it may still end up being a bullet dodged from our perspective.

I think we need a striker. If its him, fine, if its not, no problem. As long as there is a plan B.

I literally trust that our bosses will do the right thing. I dont question anything they do anymore

After the Alves debacle, where we let the world's best right-back slip through our fingers, I regularly question what they do.

Wonder how much it will cost to sign a player of Sanchez's ability in the summer. A lot I would imagine.

He may well be on his way to united but it is always worth bearing in mind that there is often an ulterior motive to things Cross says. What he says comes from Arsenal not Sanchez's people. If united have offered Arsenal more as a transfer fee then it is in Arsenal's interest to try to force our hand by pushing this line that he is on the verge of going to them. And if it is ever in Arsenal's interest to report something in a certain way, even if it is not true, then you can bet your life that this **** will have no issue putting it in a national paper.

Absolutely mate.

its not over until its over and im still hoping that between ourselves and Sanchez we are literally trolling the ****s here.

If he only cared about the money then why didn't he go to PSG in the summer when they were sniffing around him?

Shame, but says a lot about the guy. I thought he was better than that.

Odd that he turned down more money elsewhere but now takes it, though. Desperation maybe.

Hardly debacle, the players head was turned due to ridiculous money. Same with Sanchez is it happens.
