Alexis Sanchez

What we pay our players doesn't make a difference to the agent.

If KDBs agent knows what Sanchez can earn whilst in the PL, he will still demand similar. Also, it's more about the financial package a player receives rather than what they earn per week. You can bet your last pound that when all money is factored in, signing fee, bonuses etc, that KDB will be much closer to £400,000 a week than what he is reportedly currently earning. As will most of our top earners.
I think that is true to an extent but it is nowhere near the same as someone at the same club earning 400k. There are already players at united earning far more as a basic wage than City players currently but we have still been able to keep our wage structure the way we want it and use performance bonuses rather than offer basic wages as high as united's.

I don't want us to keep chucking money at him to sign, I would rather have someone who is pushing to sign for us not sat back and hoping for the best offer.

Hahahahahah 400k wage for a 29 years old.

35 Million for the transfer
10 Million for agents Fees
400K wage
+ destroying the whole wage structure and make people like de bruyne and aguero rage and also want 400k

U have to be insanely stupid to do this tranfer

Or desperate!

If he does sign for United, we can dress it up all we like by saying, too old, too expensive, no ambition etc but the fact is, Pep wanted him, he'd improve our squad, he's premiership proven and we need someone up front.
This is possibly the second time in 8 months that we seem to have relied on the fact that they have wanted to play for Pep but gone elsewhere

So in the summer when Pep wants another forward. if we want anyone with Sanchez quality or potential. What will that cost us? 100m+?

If and after we say no to being screwed by Arsenal/Sanchez and the player is truly worth £100M then yes it will cost £100M. However if we pay way over the odds then it would probably cost us £150M. You only have to look at what the rags paid for Pogba and Lukaku to see the on going impact of looking like a desperate and soft touch. When was the last time Spurs got screwed for a player? There is a reason for that.

There would have been nothing to match if this was all done before the rags decided to try their luck. And of course he would ask us to match the offer once he received a better one. It's his job, he does this for money. He doesn't owe us anything, he already waited 6 months for us only to see us draw a line in the sand over the fee.

It's not Sanchez' decision, it's Arsenal's.

If we trust him to sign for City, we would be a right bunch of stupid ****s, to go & offer Arsenal, an extra ten million quid, when we 'know' he has said he will stick it out & come here.

We do not want a player who changes that agreement, for more money.

City are clearly operate within budgets. The highest price we have ever paid is £54M for KDB. We have not so far paid stupid figures like the Pogba £90M. We do not throw money away. We decide what someone is worth based on age and salary and that is it. I see some are saying we should have signed VVD and Sanchez in the summer. Wasn't it the case that because we thought we were signing Sanchez we didn't have the budget to buy another centre-back or full back which was originally intended (we had of course already bought several other players).

Not sure whether this is serious but the amount of money we have wasted on absolute shite is scary.

I’m not that arsed. They’ll still struggle for top 4, we’ll still win the league. So it’s about next season, he’ll be 30, San & St will be a year older and better and Jesus will be fully developed. Is he better than Kun? Not for me
