Think this is one Man Utd won't believe is done until it is over the line. As recently as late last week, people inside club felt Sanchez to City was more or less certain. City felt player would prefer to join them. Interesting to see if Pep Guardiola makes a final push.

There is no Utd 'plan' for Sanchez. It's a reaction to being shit. Well, the 'plan' as with Ibra & Lukaku, is to throw him in & hope it works out.

Plans change quickly and United reacted to their circumstances. Was Ederson part of the plan when we signed Bravo? Danilo when we were after Alves? Of course not.
