Sanchez wouldn't have made a blind bit of difference in that game...the game was lost in midfield and by brain farts at the back

That Pep took so long to make a substitution, and he didn't make all 3, suggests he feels he didn't have game changers on the bench.

Been a few games recently where the bench has looked thin. In truth, if Silva was too unwell to play, we practically had two substitutes, as Mangala wasn't coming on and neither were the kids.

We let them in by letting it known we had no intention of paying over £20m when Arsenal were asking a not unreasonable £35m. Sanchez's camp wanted to leave. They invited United to bid, to allow Sanchez to leave . If we had not been adamant we would not get close to Arsenal's asking price, their camp would not have encouraged United to bid.
Mate, its an open market and we cannot stop anyone joining the party

Need to get him whatever it takes
Aguero was awful today and can't hack 2 games in a week

An attacker is obviously needed, but if United want to pay what 25+ more for him, you let them. Not worth it. Money could be better spent else where this window. Desperately need a LB if delph misses time. Even though its a dream signing at the price, Umtiti would be a much better buy given the price and age for him. Also couldn't be worth than Danilo at LB if we needed to move someone there. Also think a box to box midfielder would be a more valuable buy at the time. Need someone that can spell ferna from time to time and also challenge Gundagon for other spot

Sanchez is definitely a spark of a player, something we needed today. His ability to be very direct to would have been a help, he finds the runs very well.
I do not want us getting our pants pulled down over him though still as we are still a very strong team.
