Not wanting to pay out the money is an Arsenal trait.....look what's happening to them. We've fucked up.
City always work to thier own valuations. It's not that we are stingy. £50m for a full back is a record breaking fee and we hit it twice last summer. When we wanted Aguero we swooped in and payed up and concluded it quick. If we see Dybala as worth £150m using whatever metrics we use we will pay it.

Last 2 summer windows we've been the highest gross spenders but it's not enough for some spoil brats. 15 points clear and crying over 1 player, it's so fucking needy.

Where are Real Madrid exactly in La Liga.....the club and Pep made the right choice
They’re having a bad season but they’ve still won the CL twice in a row. Burnt out now probably but let’s be honest they’re still the worlds top club.

I disagree, I think we’ve made a terrible decision. Letting the rags get sanchez is basically giving them a helping hand at closing the gap to us. Yeah one player doesn’t gurantee you things but now they have that player who they can build around. 2/3 more top signings and they’re there.

We’re dealing with football agents, we know how crooked they all can be so why do we act so suprised when they pull this shit on us?

It would have been great fun to see Sanchez play for us, to see how he could help us against parked buses, and he would have made our squad better. BUT... no big deal that we didn't get him, others will come instead.

People worry about Sanchez now strengthening Manure, but them becoming stronger and winning more games does not change the fact that we are 12-15 points ahead of them, and it will not be sufficient for any side to win all their remaining games, as we would also have to loose quite a few.
This will not happen. In Pep and the team spirit I trust.

We will be even better next season, with a fully up to speed Mendy back, and with players knowing Pep's system and demands even better, and we will not miss Sanchez as we will likely have a better alternative.

Good post.

@Karen7 makes a good point above that pep doesn’t want players who are not committed to playing for him and city... I suspect Sanchez was toast as soon as he began negotiating with the rags

you miss the point,we don't get held to ransom by agents anymore regardless of who the player is,this is the point being missed, the club and pep are correct

Whole heartedly agree, we cant get pissed about. We made our case and point and after all the hot air he bailed, him and his agent. £5m for his agent, for doing what exactly. My feelings are or were he would have upset the dressing room, he'll probably do it at OT with the help of Mourinho.

Might just be me but think there might be desperation tactics afoot here. Mufc are signing sanchez , its all money, arsenal will sell to utd rather than us. Then we loose to Liverpool? Thought pep seemed relieved with the loss. Stop complacency and move on.

We were always going to pay that much on our full backs, we had zero so any team we were going to negotiate with had one over on us from the start. We’ve clearly got the money and Getting Sanchez would’ve made the rest of the league think “why bother”. We would have been so far ahead it’s ridiculous, that’s why people are upset at this it’s got nothing to do with being spoilt.
