Buying Sanchez now could well prove to be a master stroke by Pep. Sanchez Sane Raz for 2 wide positions would be an ideal scenario. Pretty sure they will all get enough game time and required rest during hectic schedule.

Alexis---------Jesus------------Sane

-----------------KDB-------------------

-----Gundogan------Fabinho-------

Gaya--Bonucci--Stones--Henrichs

--------------Ederson-----------------

Raz----------Aguero--------Roberts

-----------Silva---Garcia-------------

---------Dinho-----Carvalho--------

Kolarov-----Otamendi-----Maffeo

--------------Bravo--------------------

Question is did we have to wait to play against Arsenal to appreciate the quality he'd bring to ouremind team? I know in my heart that, on form, he's the best player in the EPL right now but for some reason I do not admit it. I'll cry if he goes to Chelsea

This won't please you then :)

Henrichs will be cover at rb

City would agree the fee and wages then he will go to the club he really wants to go to (again).

Should stay well clear.

I could be wrong, but I feel like Sanchez will be what Pogba was to us last summer. I good player that a lot of posters want, but we'll end up not buying him and use the money elsewhere like on Rose (Stones last summmer). He's a good player no doubt, but we do have other pressing needs. I know that Pep coached Sanchez before, but I feel Pep doesn't want big names, but rather young players with potential and make them into good players like Sane. I think he feels they are easier to mold without the egos.

If Pep really wants him, it will happen. If Bravo is staying this summer, then I think it is even more possible as they also seem to be close.

Hopefully if he leaves Arsenal he goes abroad if we don't get him

Given that we could be losing most of our experienced players, we will need at least a couple of 25-29 year olds to keep the balance right.

Sanchez plays everywhere except where he should play upfront or out wide. perhaps it's a good trait to have, to want to take responsibility, but it's gone too far. He reminds me of a manic kid on the playground who just chases the ball all over.

I think it's fair to say he didn't really pull up trees at Barcelona, and left. Wouldn't pep have been his manager back then?
Maybe he wouldn't be too keen on working under him again?

Pep admitted before the Arsenal home game that he played sanchez in the wrong position at Barcelona. Pep seems to think he does a good job out wide, but is better through the middle. Sanchez was predominantly played wide at Barcelona.

From what I remember Pep beat off City to sign him and he played very well for Barca. They sold Alexis after Pep left when they bought Neymar. I would not go for Sanchez now. He is an outstanding player, but perhaps his best days are behind him. I think he has at least 2 top seasons left in him, but I doubt many big clubs would look at making a huge outlay in terms of wages and transfer fee on a player who will be 29 next season

It would be pretty fun just to enjoy the salt from Arsenal fans the poor buggers.

He is the best player in the premier league. He has at least 2-3 years at the top. I think he is a player that we cant miss, a game changer, a joker like van persie back days. The price will be fair and reasonable so in my opinion he is the first player I would sign, even before a defender!

Could have done with him today and surely Arsenal would prefer to sell to us.

Come on City, it's only money!!
