  • £30-£35m transfer valuation
  • £10-£15m agent fee (madness but believable with Utd considering they gave Mino around £24m in Pogba deal)
  • £25.5m p/a wages!
The wage package must include the 30m signing on fee (over the course of the contract) that Utd were reportedly ready to pay him (double what we had agreed), not even Utd would pay a signing on fee on top of 500k p/w

This all supports what Ornstein reported a couple of days ago

I am sensing a “failed medical” here to get them out of it. Probably wrong but have just got one of them feelings. Once they see the numbers written down.

Some folk on here need a little realism. These fuckers could fluke it all the way to a champs league final and if that's the case he's a masterstroke of a signing.

They aren't catching us, so the pressure is off on that front, they get a free pass now and top 4 and a push in champs league will be fine for them. Signing this merc will help them do both.

I'm all for the clubs stance, but we absolutely 100% need to go further than them in Europe to justify it.

Listen , they've got a great player, one we wanted & he'll improve them immensely .
All this, he's not that good ,he'll be crap in 4 years is bullshit , they've pushed the boat out to get a player we wanted & needed.

£14m a year after tax apparently, which is around £490k a week before tax.

This is half an hour old posted online by the Telegraph ...
Manchester United’s breathtaking deal to sign Alexis Sanchez is worth around £180 million after the forward agreed a four-and-a-half-year contract.
Sanchez is now just waiting to find out if Henrikh Mkhitarayn will give the green light on a switch in the other direction to Arsenal, which would trigger his move to Old Trafford.
The 29 year-old will be paid £14m a year after tax - just under £27m a year before tax - to join United, on top of his £30m valuation, £20m signing-on fee, and an agents’ fee worth more than £10m. That all adds up to around £180m for a player who had entered the final six months of his Arsenal contract and goes some way to explaining why Manchester City walked away from negotiations.

Stephen Ireland should have had 2 early on in the game on Monday, even if they sign him there still shit at the back won't go further than us pal, especially with JFE in the squad!!

Not especially worried if he goes to the swamp, they've still got a lot of work to do before that squad is a proper title contender. Just chuffed that the Chelsea interest turned out to be nothing, or looks that way, HAZARD - MORATA - SANCHEZ would be a very scary front three.

Biggest worry is who do we sign instead? Everyone seems to be saying out and out strikers when I feel we need someone who can play both wings to give Sane and Sterling a rest every couple of weeks.
