I think he's too professional to say that. But if he wanted to be there, he would have already made it clear, amongst all this speculation.

If the tables were turned, I wouldn't trust him an inch. And all the stuff leaked by people like Lee Dixon, about him being hard work etc, suggests Arsenal aren't comfortable about him either.

The ONLY agreement I can see happening for him to stay is if he and Wenger agree that Alexis will play for the shirt, Alexis is happy to do so but not sign a new deal and leave next summer.

I'd be fine with that unless we were offered stupid money in the 80m range.

It's one of the reasons why we should be trying to get the South American talents early and not whilst they are established in Europe.

A Brazilian or an Argentine just simply cannot refuse the advance of a PL team because the wages on offer - even at the lower end - as they are just vastly superior to that of their clubs in their native countries.
 
I think it's time to shelve this Sanchez interest and invest getting this defence sorted, I'd love Sanchez but do we really needed him?
 
One things for sure Sanchez holds the aces, He might either be out for the biggest possible contract with Arsenal , happy to move abroad but trying to drive the price down for a bigger signing on fee or wanting to come to City.
Although it sounds very much that we have been told the latter by Sanchez I think the events with Alves should tell us that other things are possible.

Yeah.

Sanchez puts our attack on par with the likes of Bayern.

That's the level we need to look to reach and not just a level we think will win the PL.
 
I think PSG are certainly in the mix and will pay what's required. They still haven't made a marquee signing this summer either.

I think defence is priority for you guys though. You currently have four senior defenders!!

Signing Lacazette and another could suggest Sanchez is going, but could equally send him the message that he's not so important that they're going to budge further on wages.

I think it's going to drag til August.

That's levels of delusion i've not seen since Fergie was still at United, their fans was trying to convince themselves we would never surpass them, the Sheikh would get bored after two years and Yaya Toure was a defensive midfielder.

There's 3 players from their team that are good enough to make our starting 11, Bellerin, Koscielny and Sanchez. A few of their homegrown players would be worth taking as squad players too to fill the quota but that's it. The midfield part got me the most, their midfield is terrible, not a single player good enough to be starting for a team challenging for the title yet he thinks with a fit Cazorla theirs matches a midfield consisting of Yaya, Fernandinho, Gundogan, SIlva, KDB and Bernardo. Amazing.

To your comments on said players it's all irrelevant, you posting that was actually irrelevant as this is the Alexis Sanchez thread. Not the 'let's post Arsenal forum speak' thread?

Why not post something constructive about Alexis Sanchez?
