both sane and sterling are individually better than lemar. there is no meaning to buy young wingers like lemar or under while we have raz and sane. or we buy top class epl proven alexis or we must buy young talents better than sterling and sane like dembele or mbappe.

Well I'll know what to expect if Tolmie posts this

Maybe it's the recent Alves turnaround and the snail pace attempts to sign Walker and Mendy but I've gone full on pessimistic and expecting Sanchez to fuck us off.

It's in the balance. This still could still be our best transfer window.....or one of our worst (if we remain fullback less)

Buy Lemar for the season, buy Sanchez next year on a free and sell them Lemar for a profit. lol.

I can't see that happening. We know we're already not getting one of our first choice RB targets and it looks m ore and more likely to me that Mendy is going to stay (although I'm glad people who know better have posted otherwise) but there's no way we'll go into the new seasons without signing any. Just looks like we're going to have to compromise which tends to happen every summer anyway.

The exciting surprise signing was Bernardo and now I just want us to take care of the biggest problem area in the squad.

It is just as this is dragging on that I really don't care if we don't sign him, in fact unless we do a deal before we fly out, I think fuck it save the money.

An arbitrary cut off point. We do sign players after meaningless friendlies half way around the world to appease sponsors you know.

Yeah I do, I said I ain't arsed if he signs so I can be arbitrary, woud be nice to add to the squad, but with our attacking talent not a priority, rather we concentrated on FB and CB positions rather than drag on for Sanchez.

Totally agree with you. I'm also a bit not fussed if he comes or not, we have added to our attacking options already. Up front was never really the issue so Silva is an added bonus. Sanchez would be icing on top of loads of icing we already have garnished the cake with. A decent defender would be just icing.

I'm hungry now.

if we don't get sanchez then i would like pep and city to look at something else maybe a big striker to change it up in tight games yes go long if we need to we have aguero jesus Iheanacho sterling sane KDB both silva's so going forward looks ok but the change up can work really well off a big striker

am not saying crouch or carroll type of player but a dzeko / Lewandowski type who can play in teams that play football on the floor
