Can we stop about this Sanchez-Aguero swap deal. Won't ever happen. Next season we'll see both these players on the same team next season and it won't be Arsenal.

Aguero bagged 20 in the league. Sanchez 24. I love Sergio, but he came back a tiny bit overweight to pre-season, went through a period of uncertainty, and he would have been dropped for a longer period had Jesus not got injured. He then bought into Peps philosophy and started to look in shape as a result, however the sharpness didn't seem to be there.

If he comes back pre-season fit, and raring to go, 35 in the league should be the target.
If he comes back out of shape - sell to highest bidder and use the money to go balls out for any player that's regarded as the very best.

Glad you're not running the club.

Sanchez 24 in 38 games, Sergio 20 in 31 so its not quite a fair comparison, goals per game is almost identical for the season Sanchez 0.61 and Sergio 0.65. Why would you want to get rid of a player who guarantees that goal return?

It's not about wanting him out... if he's fit and sharp, he's unstoppable. If he's not - why should we carry him? Ideally we'd have BOTH in our squad. Decline is a worrying factor in any elite player - especially in those that like to balloon up during the summer. Sergio had a period of about 20 games or so, where he hit the net in just 5 games. In a similar period Sanchez netted in about 10. Aguero assisted 3 goals in the league all season (Jesus did 4 in 8 games!) ... Sanchez 10.

Try not to jump down my throat, I'm just offering a subjective look at why the silliest rumour can be almost justified.

Me too, I'd try to pair Sergio up with Kane. Think he works better with a big man if I'm honest. However, you can't possibly tell me, that if Sergio comes back fat to pre-season, you would not question his future at the club or his ability to avoid injury?
